A company from the Science Town of Koltsovo (Russia) offers immunoenzymatic test kits for detecting the following diseases in livestock and pets: leptospirosis, brucellosis, yersiniosis, chlamydia, mycoplasmosis, ureaplasmosis, listeriosis, toxocariasis, and ascariasis. The accuracy of the tests is 98 to 100 per cent. The test kits perform the analysis 5-10 times faster than do the traditional methods. The company is interested in a joint venture or financial resources.
The test kits offered are designed to increase accuracy, quality, and productiveness of detecting infectious diseases in animals. A test kit consists of a 96-well plate and an immunoenzymatic analyzer. An antigen for a specific infection is placed into each well. Blood samples are put in the wells and antibodies to certain infections (if they are in blood samples) react with the relevant antigens. As a result, the colours of the solutions in the wells change. The optical characteristics (optical dense) of the solutions are read by the analyzer and processed by special software.

По сравнению с традиционными методами диагностики, основанными на реакциях преципитации и бактериологическом посеве, не позволяющими оперативно выявлять инфекционные заболевания сельскохозяйственных животных, производительность выполнения анализов может быть увеличена в среднем в 5-10 раз. Компания разработала собственную технологию изготовления антигенов, составляющую «ноу-хау». Способ вывода данных автоматизирован, что обеспечивает цифровую обработку информации.
